President: Ajit Bopalkar
My name is Ajit Bopalkar and I am beyond excited to serve as the president for the Eta chapter of Lambda Sigma on the Carnegie Mellon campus. I am a Business Administration major tracking in finance, and I am from Edison, New Jersey. I am also the Auditing Chair of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi.
For the 2013-2014 school year, I would like to see Lambda Sigma gain a more well-known reputation for our service events and ideals within the community. We will be focusing on PR and our establishment on campus in order to bring out more students to our big events as well as encourage them to make service an active part of their lives. I am very lucky to be working with such an amazing, diverse group of members this year and a hardworking, driven E-board and I believe that we will be very successful in our endeavors. I am looking forward to all that we will be able to accomplish this year!

Historian: Jamie Earnest
As Lambda Sigma's Selections Chair, my primary goal is to make our name known on campus. Through creative Public and Alumni Relations objectives, I know that we can make this happen. We hope to share our progress with you as we will be displaying all of our events electronically and in scrapbook form. We hope to let Lambda Sigma's four principles: Leadership, Fellowship, Scholarship and Service guide us on campus, and attract motivated individuals for next year.
Treasurer: Julia Yang
My name is Julia Yang and I am a Physics and Materials Science Engineering double major from Princeton Junction, New Jersey. I’m heavily invested in research with an Electronic Materials group, where we investigate the fabrication of high electron mobility transistors. I’m also an assistant copy manager for The Tartan, CMU’s school-wide newspaper, as well as a member of Tartan Club volleyball. It is my pleasure to be on Lambda Sigma’s E-board and give back to the CMU community as much as it has given me.
As Treasurer, I plan to wisely manage the treasury in order to successfully operate the fellowship
and service activities planned for the year. I look forward to working with the diverse and motivated
members of Lambda Sigma and having a productive, memorable year!
